LGBTQ is an abbreviation that stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer.
It is used as an umbrella term to refer to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer community.
Lesbian refers to a woman who is predominantly sexually and romantically attracted to other women.
Gay refers to a man who is predominantly sexually and romantically attracted to other men.
Bisexual refers to someone who is sexually and romantically attracted to both men and women.
Transgender refers to someone who identifies as the opposite sex from the sexual genitalia that he/she was born with.
